Pure Sardinia presents its Cannonau di Sardegna DOC wine, a clear wine with a beautiful intense ruby ​​red color but not concentrated, typical of Cannonau grapes processed in purity. The nose is immediately interesting, with aromas reminiscent of raspberry, plum, pink pepper and dog rose. A very fine balsamic and light vanilla scent closes the aromatic department. in the mouth it is fruity, warm, soft, balanced, with a moderate tannin and fine in line with the structure of the wine.

Capo F

is a red wine made exclusively from Cannonau grapes grown in 35-year-old sapling vines located in the Oddoène valley, in the Dorgali area (NU) within the Gennargentu National Park, in Sardinia.
The soils on which they were planted are made of limestone or sand from granite decay.

In the cellar we proceeded with the destemming and crushing of the grapes and once the maceration was completed, which lasted 12 days with frequent pumping over, the wine was transferred to steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The vinification continued for about 18 months in the same containers with frequent bâtonnage and then proceeded with bottling in April 2020.

Visual examination:

Tasting Exam:
in the mouth it is fruity, warm, soft, balanced, with tannins
moderate and fine in line with the structure of the wine. Marked acidity and minerality give freshness and dampen the impressive alcoholic structure making it elegant and easy to drink.

 

Overall examination:
wine rich in taste, complex but not demanding, caressing,
harmonic. Its “young” character suggests that it will be a very long-lived wine, which will be increasingly appreciable in the years to come.
